Christian Bruno is a transactional attorney practicing in the areas of real estate, real estate finance and general corporate law. He has represented private U.S. and foreign national investors, REITs, private equity funds, joint ventures, developers, large financial institutions, local and regional banks, landlords, tenants, local businesses and entrepreneurs in real estate, lending and commercial leasing transactions involving office buildings, shopping centers, retail stores, multi-family apartments, condominiums, industrial properties, hotels, charter schools and assisted living facilities. Christian has specialized experience in representing both borrowers and lenders in mortgage, mezzanine, and construction financings, modifications and workouts, puchasers and sellers of real estate-backed notes and participations, and preferred equity investors in preferred equity real estate investments. In addition, he has represented several U.S. and foreign national private investors in structuring and purchasing U.S. real estate assets.
Christian has also assited small and medium-sized businesses, start-up ventures and emerging businesses in structure and formation, asset acquisitions and sales, private financings and general corporate matters.

- Represent foreign national investor group in structure and purchase of U.S. commercial property portfolio.
- Represent assisted living facility fund in structure, formation and private placement funding as well as acquisition of underlying real estate facility sites across the U.S.
- Act as Florida local counsel to REIT-controlled borrower in modification of $800MM mortgage loan and issuance of Florida opinion letter.
- Act as Florida local counsel to large U.S. financial institutional lender in modification of $38MM mortgage loan.
- Represent luxury clothing tenant in $20MM NYC Madison Avenue commercial retail lease with build-out.
- Represent preferred equity investor in $7MM acquisition of South Florida shopping center.
- Represent real estate investment fund in structure, formation and acquisition of distressed Florida real estate properties.
- Represent New York City landlord in commercial warehouse lease matter.
- Represent investor group in portfolio purchase of single-tenant dollar store properties throughout Florida and Texas.
- Represent national retail tenant in office lease with built-out for Orlando headquarters.
- Represent commercial property owner in AIA contractor document negotiations for renovation of Miami restaurant.
- Represent investor purchaser in $1.9MM acquisition of retail Southwest Florida property leased to leading U.S. coffee shop company.
- Represent multi-national manufacturing tenant in office lease with built-out for NYC headquarters.
- Represent world-renowned auction house in purchase of Manhattan headquarters and assumption of $265MM securitized mortgage loan
- Represent joint venture in $60MM mortgage refinance of 30-acre commercial/residential park in Orlando, FL
- Represent lender in $110MM bankruptcy financing to publicly-held communications company secured by mortgages in 12 U.S. states
- Represent institutional joint-venture partner in purchase of $200MM newly constructed mixed-use office, retail and hospital facility
- Represent publicly-held financial institution in sale of B-Note portfolio secured by Florida multi-family apartment complexes
- Represent lender in $41MM mortgage purchase loan for Miami Gardens multi-family complex
- Represent seller in sale of $16MM office building leased to U.S. government and loan defeasance
